which strives to respond, in a meaningful way,
to the needs of the most abandoned of our city's
poor and homeless people -- basic physical needs
of shelter, food and warm clothing, deeply human
needs of compassion, dignity and feelings of self
worth.” |

Our main community work
efforts are working towards assisting the homeless.
In that regard, there is a wonderful program that is
offered through a number of churches and synagogues
to help the homeless during our colder winter months.
In the near future, we will providing further information
about this program as well as links to various organizations. |

Children's Hockey
Teams |
|
Universal sponsors two
children's hockey teams - one is in the Forest Hill
Hockey Association and the other with the Baycrest
Hockey League. We wish our teams all the best of success
and we hope that all participants have loads of fun
and learn to play hockey. Go team Universal!!!! |

Every
year we get asked to support a wide range of charities
and while we would like to be able to contribute to
each and every worthy cause, we contribute to as many
as we can by donating money or products. We hope that
our contributions to these organizations assists them
in reaching their goals and we applaud all the volunteers
who contacted us for their hard work and beliefs in
their causes. |
